It is comfortably wide on a full frame camera, and provides a good normal field of view on my APS-C cameras as well. It focuses quickly and quietly, even though it is a 3rd party lens. This lens is constructed beautifully, and is a pleasure to use. A wide angle lens like the SIGMA 20mm F1.4 DG HSM | Art isn’t an obvious choice for portraits but for me it’s perfect.
